Sacramento Region E-mobility collaborative
Community Committee
This is a subcommittee meeting of the Sacramento Region e-Mobility Collaborative focused on underserved communities that have been historically underrepresented in the Federal Government and underserved by, or subject to discrimination in, Federal policies and programs.
These communities suffer from a combination of economic, health, and environmental burdens. These burdens include poverty, high unemployment, social inequity, air and water pollution, presence of hazardous wastes as well as high incidence of asthma and heart disease.
The Sacramento eMo CC Subcommittee brings forth project opportunities, evaluated by the SacMo Executive committee - consistent with applicable law, to increase coordination, communication, and engagement with community-based organizations.

Green Tech Zero Emission Mobility Hub
Green Tech Electric Vehicle Mobility Hub is intended to provide people transportation methods for commuting and other general errands in zero emission vehicles. This hub supports those without easy access to vehicles, as well as a central point of connectivity. The ultimate goal is to reduce emissions, improve health, and economic development.
|
Clean Cars 4 All (CC4A)
CC4A provides financial incentives to purchase or lease plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV), zero-emission vehicles (ZEV), and zero-emission motorcycles (ZEM) for low-income consumers. Participants are also eligible for incentives for home chargers or prepaid charge cards, if home charger installations are not a viable option.

Our Community CarShare Sacramento (OCCS)
OCCS is a program initiated by Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District (Sac Metro AQMD). OCCS aims to make electric vehicles available at a discounted rate for low-income and disadvantaged communities. The mission of the project is spreading awareness of EVs, educating the public, strengthening local economics, and more.

EV Ambassadors
NorCal Clean Cities and Communities, in partnership with Green Technical Education and Employment, created the EV Ambassadors program in November 2024 to hire students from Twin Rivers USD high schools to become subject matter experts and advocates for EVs, alternative fuels, and sustainable transportation. EV Ambassadors' main objective was to attend and table at various community events to engage with attendees and speak with them about electric vehicles.

Community Resource Project (CRP) – Louise Perez Resource Center Mobility Hub
The Louise Perez Resource Center Mobility and Resiliency Hub grew out of a simple but powerful question: how can a trusted community site do more for the neighborhood during everyday life and in times of emergency? In 2023, Community Resource Project (CRP) and Aura Planning began exploring how the Louise Perez site could become a place of both resilience and opportunity - a place where clean transportation, renewable energy, and emergency preparedness come together to directly benefit residents.
