Keith Leech, President of the Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition, presented to regional Fleet Managers about the opportunities and accessibilities of government funding for fleets. Mr. Leech gave a brief overview of the Department of Energy Clean Cities Program and highlighted some of its accomplishments in petroleum reduction in conjunction with outreach to public and private fleets. His presentation informed attendees about the nearly $20 million available of incentives in the Sacramento region through GMERP, SECAT, and the Moyer program. In addition, Mr. Leech discussed the California Air Resources Board's (CARB) Heavy-Duty Vehicle and Equipment Funding Opportunities as well as the funding accessible through the California Energy Commission (CEC) for the 2015-2016 fiscal year.
