The event kicked off with a funding presentation by Jaime Lemus of the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District (SMAQMD), giving stakeholders an understanding of current incentive programs offered by the Air District and the Clean Cities Coalition. Jaime introduced representatives from three vendors also showcasing at the event: Phil Haupt and Susan Alm of Phil Haupt Electric, David Greenfader of Envision Solar, and Wayne Michaud of Idle Free California.
Next, Xl Hybrids co-founder and VP of Supply Chain Clay Siegert gave a presentation detailing the benefits of XL Hybrid’s XLP™ fleet-ready technology. An abridged version of their informative presentation may be accessed here. After the presentation, XL Hybrids CTO and VP of Engineering Ed Lovelace answered stakeholder questions about the technology.
Lunch was provided by Sully’s Café, who arranged a taco bar with biodegradable plates and utensils. Thanks to all who attended and made this a fun and successful event!
